Our standard 3/4" (19.05mm) diameter steel dent rod is tapered at one end and fitted with 3/8-16 threads. The other end is fitted with 1/2-13 threads. The 48" (1.22m) length works great for all saxophones as well as large brass instrument.

Rather than simply thread the ends of the rods we have fitted each end with case hardened threaded inserts. Should the threads ever become damaged or break a new insert can be easily and inexpensively installed rather than having to replace the entire rod.
