A whimsical contemporary studio bronze sculpture titled âMystic Encounterâ by Joseph Quillian. Signed with an annotation of 59/350. Circa 1990s. A classic composition showcasing oceanic themes which includes dolphins and sprawling sea vegetation. The bronze vase has a lovely patina, and the turquoise hue echoes the color of the ocean. Quillian has won many prestigious awards throughout his career and his artwork can be seen in dozens of fine art galleries throughout the United States and internationally. He is a contemporary with environmental artist Robert Wyland and their friendship was a great influence on Quillianâs artistic career.
