UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) is
a material that provides the low friction characteristics of teflon plus offers
two additional features that make it a superior product for use in the repair shop:

Superior Abrasion Resistance

UHMW has a higher resistance to breakdown and wear making it more durable
for dent work as well as less likely to imbed itself with dirt or grit.

Adhesive Backed

Simply wipe clean the surface of the tool or part, cut UHMW to size,
peel off the backing and press on. The high grade adhesive really sticks.

An excellent product for:

=> Dent hammers to minimize hammer marks on the finish.

=> Burnishing irons, bell irons, and mandrels to protect instrument finish.

=> Woodwind keys, levers, etc.
